Flow Cytometry Cell-Cycle Analysis Web Application

PhaseFinder is a web application that supports both automated and interactive analysis and visualization of flow cytometry data, with a focus on cell-cycle modeling from DNA-content histograms. The application enables users to ingest flow cytometry data, generate one-dimensional histograms (automatically or with user adjustments), fit cell-cycle distributions using Dean-Jett-Fox modeling, and estimate the relative proportions of G1, S-phase, and G2 populations.

The project also focuses on improving the plotting and reporting experience for flow cytometry analysis. Rather than relying on rigid default graphics, PhaseFinder is being developed to deliver highly customizable, publication-ready plots with user-adjustable styling, labels, gates, model overlays, peak annotations, and export settings. The goal is to make cell-cycle analysis more transparent, reproducible, and easier to communicate in manuscripts, presentations, and reports.

PhaseFinder does all work in the browser (client-side), meaning no data ever leaves the user's computer, ensuring privacy, security, more responsive performance, and an overall better experience.
